Alice and Gabriel travel throughout the Italian Peninsula to discover hidden gems and get the wine straight from the producers. No wine comes back to Australia if it does not represent the true core of Italy's tradition and culture of wine-making.
We pride ourselves on being "Ambassadors of Unrivalled Quality".
What we provide to you is not only wine in a bottle, but a whole and true Italian experience. Uncork one of our bottles and discover how the unique soil composition and specific environmental conditions blend with tradition and innovation to create undisputed Italian Excellence.
Other retailers may offer cheaper options, we invite you to try an horizontal tasting in order to compare the quality of our wines with others.
Once you'll see, smell and taste the difference ask yourself this question: "For a few dollars more in price, would I still drive around in a cheap blend Italian car or in a smoking hot Ferrari?" The choice is yours.
We suggest you wait for few days. Even though we use the most delicate and careful wine postage service, the motion during transport might cause a phenomenon called "bottle shock". “Bottle shock” or “bottle sickness” are terms used to describe a temporary condition in a wine where its flavors are muted or disjointed. After bottling, the main scenario when bottle shock sets in is when wines (especially natural wines and fragile older wines) are shaken in travel. The evidence for this phenomenon is more anecdotal than scientific, but the theory is that all the complex elements in wine (phenolics, tannins and compounds) are constantly evolving, both on their own and in relation to each other. Motion can add stress to this evolution, causing the wine to shut down temporarily.Nothing to worry about, it is absolutely normal. A few days of rest is the perfect cure, so once you receive your wine don't rush into it, allow it to rest in a cool dark place for few days (as a rule of thumb we suggest one week) before popping the cork!
