2016 VALPOLICELLA SUPERIORE D.O.C.

  • This is the product of 45 years old vines.

    It offers bright, red cherry fruit with a hint of exotic wood and roasted coffee on the nose.

    Well judged tannins and nice acidity balance the palate, which has plenty of very appealing cherry and blackberry fruit.

    Taking a leaf out of the Amarone-makers' handbook, Corte Adami actually allows a short period of drying for the Corvina grapes, resulting in a surprisingly fuller body and richer style compared to other Valpolicella wines.
