This wine presents flavours and aromas of black cherry, berries, plum, chocolate, and some herbs. Low tannins and smooth acidity make this Merlot very popular amongst people trying to get accustomed to drier, more complex red wines. These characteristics in fact make it easier to drink than other reds.
RECOMMENDED PAIRING: The fruity flavours make it well-suited to pair with lighter foods that won't overwhelm the flavours of the wine. Perfect with pasta dishes, pizza, baked fish, meats, mushroom based dishes, Camembert and Gouda cheese.
