Light and clear straw pale colour, with aromas of pear, lemon and fresh citrus. Crisp acidity complements its excellent flavour length.
Whether enjoyed as an aperitif or with a meal, Cecchetto's Pinot Grigio is definitely a crowd-pleaser. This wine will give sauvignon blanc fans the opportunity to gently expand their tasting horizons – both varietals in fact have much in common, being so light and fresh.
In warm weather, Cecchetto Pinot Grigio’s dry, crisp and zesty nature really shines – particularly when paired with seafood.
Pinot grigio is the Italian term and pinot gris is the French term. While both are made using the pinot gris grape, production techniques are different. Pinot grigio is often harvested earlier and therefore tends to be lighter, drier, paler and a bit zestier.
