SAIO - 2015 "Eremo" Cabernet-Sangiovese




  • CABERNET FRANC-SANGIOVESE I.G.P. UMBRIA 750ml

    The harvest of the grapes is carried out separately: the Sangiovese during the second decade of september and the Cabernet Franc at the beginning of october.
    Also, the Cabernet Franc is left to age in French oak barrels for 6 months, whilst the Sangiovese in stainless steel vats. Once bottled, this wine is cellared for a minimum of 3 months before being released.

    Intense and deep ruby-red wine, offers aromas and flavours of blueberries, tobacco, liquorice, wild berries and a pleasant minerality. Full bodied with smooth tannins.


  • CABERNET FRANC-SANGIOVESE I.G.P. UMBRIA 750ml

    GRAPES: 50% Cabernet Franc, 50% Sangiovese.

    RECOMMENDED PAIRINGS: Perfect with the typical pairings of red wines, but with the special touch of Cabernet Franc. Pairs wonderfully with Mount Majura truffles, grilled lamb, grilled meat in general and grilled vegetables, porcini mushrooms, chestnuts, but also with beans puree, chickpea or soups in general.

    SERVING TEMPERATURE: 16-18 °C

    ALCOHOL CONTENT: 13.5%

    WINE STORAGE: Between 12 and 16 °C, away from direct sources of light, avoiding excessively dry conditions.
