Intense ruby red wine. Elegant and dry wine, leaves a pleasant sense of softness. It boasts ripe and rich aromas of black cherry, blackberry, cocoa, red pepper and, if you look deeper you'll find a hint of chalky dry gravel and leather. On the palate there will be boldness from elevated alcohol with mocha, cinnamon, and plum flavours complimented by medium-high acidity and moderately high tannin.

RECOMMENDED PAIRING: Excellent with roasted meat, poultry and cheese platters including Brie, Camembert, aged Cheddar, smoked Cheddar, Fontina, goat cheese, Gouda, Havarti, Swiss cheese.
