Not your usual red blend! This is in fact the result of endless trials of this expert winemaker, Francesco Tolardo. he managed to find the perfect time between the full ripening of the Merlot and the early ripening of the Raboso, measuring the sugars contained in the grapes he is able to decide exactly the day in which all the grapes must be harvested for both Raboso and Merlot simultaneously. The bunches from both varieties are collected and crushed together and this is how this beautiful drop comes to life. Pretty cool, isn't it?
This is a wine that must be served chilled at a temperature around 8-10 °C, ideal as aperitif as it has a slightly higher residual sugar than usual reds.
Ruby red colour with violet tones. Sweet, fresh and intense aromas of black fruits such as black cherry, blackberry and cassis, along with notes of violet, plum, chocolate.
RECOMMENDED PAIRING: Ideal as aperitif and also great with traditional Italian dishes such as meat-sauce based pasta.
SERVING TEMPERATURE: 8-10 °C
ALCOHOL CONTENT: 11.5%
WINE STORAGE: between 12 and 16 °C, away from direct sources of light, avoiding excessively dry conditions.
