Cinquestelle in Italian means "Five Stars", and this wine was give such name to pay tribute to the very high quality of carefully hand-selected Barbera grapes and the absolute undisputed quality of the oak-aged nectar as result.
Ruby red wine that offers the typical earthiness of this variety with vibrant berries notes, spices and cinnamon nuances from the oak-ageing process.
Velvety and full bodied, suitable for cellar ageing.

RECOMMENDED PAIRINGS: grilled and roast pork or wild boar, braised lamb dishes such as lamb shank, stews, Italian-style sausages with lentils or in a pasta sauce (alla salsiccia), pizzas with a sausage topping, pasta with meat and cooked tomato sauces such as bolognese.
